Well, it's snowing here in Delta BC where I'm visiting my son. I understand that there's another storm watch back home in Ontario again!! Will it ever end??!!!

The wind finally reached Ottawa late yesterday afternoon. It nearly blew me away - literally! The weatherman is predicting a snowstorm for tomorrow. I am getting a hankering for split pea soup - I think I will need some to warm up after all this cold and snow!

What a day!! The wind is really blowing here in southern Ontario and it has been all night. We're supposed to be getting some rain and/or snow which will probably freeze as soon as it hits the ground. This should be a fun day to go to work!!

Well, it didn't get washed away, but the winds up to around 60 km/hr helped to dry some of the roads before turning them to solid ice. Driving in the morning should be real fun.

Sunday morning and it's raining here. We still have some of the white stuff, but it may be washed away today.

Merry Christmas from the West Coast of Canada. We had some white stuff this morning and then it went to the most awful wet SLUSH, but it's almost all gone now, as it warmed up a lot.

Send some snow south we are still in a drought. We can only water our gardens on Saturday and Tuesday for 2 hours each day. We are not allowed to water lawns or grassed areas, So the place looks terrible. We are going to have Christmas with the Daughter and family so see you all in the new year. And everyone have a good Chtistmas and a happy new year

Thankfully we have neighbours with ATVs that have plows. They had a riot spending the day clearning our end of the street (our part is a dead end and the city doesn't do it with the rest of the street, which is a bus route).

The O.P.P. was telling drivers all day to stay home unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. As I'm shovelling the sidewalk, what do I see? Cars were sliding everywhere & some id10t on a 3-wheeled scooter (for the disabled) is rolling up the middle of the street!

We were getting snow from the middle of the night. The snow on the sidewalk came up to my knees... then there were the drifts around the car. I had to dig what I could around it so that I'd have a better chance of getting to work in the morning. Usually, I leave at about 6 a.m. & that gives me a little lee-way on the way to work (start at 7 a.m.). Tomorrow, I think I'll have to get out before 5, maybe even 4:30 to dig-out the rest of the car & get it moving. It'll be just my luck that the ONE time a snow plow comes along will be before I get out of the house.

It's fixed, and we're getting the storm too. Whiteout conditions now, and it hasn't stopped snowing since about 8:30 this morning.

We're having a really good snow storm today. No one has even left their house on my little street. Not one tire track has marred the road. Hope you got that roof fixed WO!

On Friday we had some wicked wind, and hubby thankfully noticed that the roof over the kitchen (addition) had blown off! It's a rolled roof, and it rolled up! So we're replacing that and the roof on the rest of the house. We'd planned to wait until Spring, but they are saying it's going to be a COLD, WET, SNOWY winter this year.

Talk about snow- we've been hit pretty hard again here, snowing on and off all day. Not that we have a LOT of snow, but I was going to borrow a friend's car and do some fun things. Phooey.Have to do them on Monday instead.Glad things are going okay with the kids, Wylde.

We're all doing well. And we have snow today, which makes me extra happy! I suspect that by the time the kids are teens, a white Christmas around here will be a thing of the past. :-(

Hi, still here. Annika is 8 weeks old this week and doing well. I'll post more when I have the time. In the meantime, I'll take any crock pot recipes you have.

Just wanted to tell you all that I heard from microfilming. She's been busy and had some personal issues to take care of. I've invited her here so maybe we'll see her again!!
